About the Role:
As a Specialist Fulfillment I, you’ll support warehouse operations by accurately selecting, assembling, and packaging materials and products for shipment. You’ll help ensure that inventory is handled safely and efficiently, all while maintaining quality and safety standards. This position offers exposure to multiple divisions, including paper marketing and material handling, providing the chance to learn and grow in various areas of fulfillment and logistics.
Pay Rate:
- $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
- $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift
Available Shift Times:
- 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday (Overtime may be required during peak periods)
- 1st Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday–Friday (Overtime may be required during peak periods)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday–Friday (Overtime may be required during peak periods)
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack products accurately based on order requirements using pick lists or electronic scanners
- Assemble and pack items according to specifications (primarily in the paper marketing division)
- Move, load, and unload materials using manual or mechanical equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper tracking, storage, and replenishment
- Complete required documentation, including order forms, packing slips, and inventory logs
- Assist with receiving, verifying, and storing incoming shipments and preparing orders for outbound delivery
- Inspect products for damage or defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols and best practices
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, picker/packer, or material handling experience a plus (training provided)
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and warehouse technology
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperature environments
