Company Overview

Join a dynamic warehouse team supporting the distribution of clothing for a renowned Japanese retailer. This facility specializes in high-quality garment handling, preparation, and customization before products reach retail locations across the U.S.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate industrial sewing equipment, assist with fabric cutting, and perform both machine and hand-sewing tasks to ensure precise finishing of garments and textile products.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard industrial sewing machines to assemble, alter, or repair garments and fabric materials.

• Measure, mark, and cut fabric according to specifications.

• Perform hand-sewing, hemming, and finishing work as needed.

• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring machines and tools are well maintained.

• Follow safety and operational procedures at all times.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial or commercial sewing machines required.

• Basic knowledge of fabric types, measurements, and garment construction.

• Ability to read and follow instructions, patterns, or templates.

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Dependable and punctual with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Schedule

• Shift: Monday – Saturday

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Full-time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
