About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for offloading, sorting, and preparing packages for shipment. Your key duties include handling freight, accurately sorting packages by destination, inspecting for damage, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the work area. You'll play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving smoothly and efficiently.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Available Shift Times: Overnights - 1am-12pm

Key Responsibilities

• Offload and sort incoming packages efficiently and accurately
• Check for damaged packages and handle them appropriately
• Stack and palletize freight (where applicable) in a safe manner
• Unbox, shrink-wrap, scan, and label freight as needed
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including dock and conveyor safety
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations

Key Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently
• Attention to detail when sorting and inspecting packages
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and work as part of a team
• Capable of carrying out instructions in written or oral form

Preferred Experience & Education

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required
• No formal education required—training provided on-site

Additional Information

• Rehire eligibility depends on client approval
• Access to the location by bus route or candidate must have own transportation (confirm during application)
• PPE such as steel-toed shoes and safety vests will be required; these are provided or can be sourced easily
• Background check and drug test are part of the pre-employment screening process
• Orientation will be scheduled upon offer acceptance; expect a brief onboarding session on your first day
• On the first day, report to the lead
