About the Role
As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring import entry accuracy, managing PSCs, partnering with brokers, and supporting classification and compliance efforts. Your work will directly contribute to reducing duty overspend, preventing risks, and enhancing efficiency across Spreetail’s import processes.
Pay Rate:
$75,000-$90,000 depending on experience
Available Shift Times:
M-F 8AM-5PM OT might be required!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end entry audit processes, reviewing CBP Form 7501 for valuation, HTS alignment, COO declarations, and trade remedy accuracy.
- Prepare and submit PSCs for duty recovery and compliance correction, monitoring broker accountability and error tracking.
- Support classification accuracy through review and escalation, providing technical consultation on complex classifications.
- Manage PGA documentation, obtaining necessary information from brokers and partners.
- Analyze import entry data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost recovery and compliance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure documentation readiness.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of CBP Form 7501, valuation principles, COO rules, and trade remedy regulations.
- High accuracy in identifying documentation errors and quantifying financial impacts.
- Experience managing broker workflows and ensuring compliance documentation.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and reporting tools for data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Process-minded with a continuous improvement approach (PDCA methodology).
