Job Title:

Sanitation Technician Lead (Spanish Bilingual)

Now hiring a Sanitation Technician Team Lead to join our client’s operations team in Indianapolis, IN. This is an evening/night shift position (transitioning to midnight shift as production increases) paying $24–$27 per hour. The ideal candidate has leadership experience in sanitation or manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to train, coach, and motivate team members while ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

*Bilingual in Spanish/English required

Pay Rate: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Available Shift Times:

  • Evening/Night shift (transition to midnight shift as production increases)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the sanitation team, fostering teamwork and accountability
  • Assign and oversee nightly sanitation tasks based on the Master Sanitation Schedule
  • Ensure thorough cleaning, sanitation, and reassembly of food processing equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and verify compliance with GMP, SSOP, and food safety standards
  • Train team members on proper sanitation practices, PPE use, and chemical handling
  • Report maintenance issues promptly and support corrective actions
  • Promote continuous improvement in sanitation and food safety practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience (food industry preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English required
  • Flexible to work evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and procedures preferred
  • Experience with powered industrial equipment (forklift, lifts, etc.) a plus
  • Ability to work in wet or humid conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members
  • Ability to read and interpret safety, maintenance, and regulatory documents
  • Comfortable working independently and documenting shift information
  • Physically able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift for up to 12 hours
