Our client is now hiring Quality Technicians!
This is a great opportunity for candidates with at least one year of quality experience. This temp-to-hire position is located in Reno, NV, offering 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) at $19.72/hr.

These are temp-to-hire positions – convert to a full-time employee after 480 hours of work!

About the Role:
As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet quality standards before being shipped to customers. You’ll be responsible for performing periodic inspections and driving containment actions when issues are identified. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently during the overnight shift.


Pay Rate:$19.72/hr


Available Shift Times:

  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic inspections to verify product quality prior to shipment

  • Identify non-conforming product and take appropriate containment actions

  • Notify the Quality Manager, Production Supervisor, and Engineering Manager of quality issues

  • Maintain documentation and communicate findings

  • Support continuous improvement through application of quality tools


Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum one year of experience in a quality-related role

  • Ability to distinguish between conforming and non-conforming products

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (beginner to intermediate level)

  • Familiarity with basic quality tools and concepts (5S, 8D, Gage R&R, etc.)

  • Willingness to attend training as needed

  • Basic math skills

  • Willing and able to work overtime as needed


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs

  • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, and bend in both office and manufacturing environments

  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
