As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you’ll assist in monitoring the quality and safety of finished products, raw ingredients, and packaging materials. You’ll help ensure the production process meets specifications and regulatory standards, while supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety practices.
- 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Perform measurements, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with product specifications
- Conduct in-line product audits and assessments
- Monitor sandwich production for accuracy
- Coordinate with production on quality and regulatory issues
- Ensure GMPs and sanitary practices are followed
- Collect and verify weights, measurements, and packaging integrity
- Identify and document food safety issues as they arise
- Complete data entry and sample tracking with attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred
- Familiarity with GMPs and food safety protocols is a plus
- Ability to operate standard lab equipment and use a tablet/iPad
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
- Capable of lifting/moving up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
- Comfortable working in cold environments and near moving equipment
