Production Tech I

Our client is a leader in the distribution industry, providing quality electronic items and computer components to much of North America. They are currently looking to bring on a team player to fill an exciting role as a Warehouse picker/packer in Phoenix, AZ!

Pay Rate:  $17.00/hour


Available Shift Times:

Monday Through Friday 6:00a-2:30p

Daily and weekend Overtime will be mandatory

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• The Production Technician I is responsible for performing low complexity builds of computing products in accordance with build plan. Installs system hardware and components.
• Prepare product for assembly; kit and package product. 
• Perform builds of low complexity products according to build plan; install system hardware and components. 
• Identify and process non-conforming material.
• Maintain product documentation; capture component and system serial numbers.
• Create and apply product labeling.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and ability to handle pressure
• Basic math skills (Addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1-4 years of relevant warehouse experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to continually stand; regularly bend, twist, stoop, and reach; will handle, lift and push product and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Able to follow written instructions
• Basic computer literacy
• Must be comfortable working under safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Impeccable attendance is required (reliability)
• Be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed, including days not part of their regular schedule
