Job Title:
Night Shift Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Operations Manager to lead warehouse operations and manage a large team of temporary employees in a high-volume 3PL environment. This position has direct responsibility for supervising staff, making employment-related recommendations, and ensuring operational excellence and supporting client relations or requests.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, demonstrates strong leadership, and brings proven experience in warehouse management in high-volume staffing or staffing industry.
Pay rate: $70,500
Regular status
Shift: Mon-Fri 8pm-4:30am
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Directly supervise a team of warehouse associates and shift leads (minimum of 2+ full-time equivalents).
- Exercise authority in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating performance, and making recommendations on promotion, discipline, and termination.
- Provide consistent coaching, motivation, and performance management to ensure high engagement and productivity.
Operational Management
- Oversee night shift activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Manage labor planning and staffing levels to meet client requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Use independent judgment to resolve operational challenges and allocate resources effectively.
Client & Business Relations
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for client leadership during the night shift.
- Prepare and deliver operational performance reports, highlighting productivity metrics, KPIs, and staffing outcomes.
- Collaborate with client and internal management teams to improve processes and service delivery.
Strategic Decision-Making
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Implement workflow enhancements and technology solutions to drive results.
- Participate in strategic planning for warehouse operations and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
- 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse/3PL operations.
- Demonstrated success managing large, diverse teams of hourly or temporary employees.
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Tech-savvy with experience in WMS platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, make high-level operational decisions, and lead in a fast-paced environment.

- Push utility cards up to 60 pounds
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
- Walk during the duration of your assigned shift
