About the Role:
Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields; Perform general cleaning. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Pay Rate: Earn up to $22.29/hr.
Available Shift Times: Wednesday – Sunday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs using a pre‐established check sheet.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate tools.
- Performs minor plumbing maintenance.
- Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
- Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space using various tools, dollies and hand trucks.
- Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools.
- Order parts and maintain required documents.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a high school diploma with some technical training and at least two years working experience in facility maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Read equipment manuals and diagrams.
- Understand and be able to practice basic troubleshooting skills.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally push or pull more than 100 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to walk. The associate frequently is required stand; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. The associate is occasionally required to talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The associate is frequently required stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
- This position requires training on Good Manufacturing Practices critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency. Training is also required on how to identify food safety issues such as temperature control, cross-contamination, sanitation and cleanliness of the lines, etc., critical to the effective implementation of the Food Safety Plan and the maintenance of food safety, quality and process efficiency.
