Job Title:
HR Generalist
Our client is hiring an onsite HR Generalist in Las Vegas who knows that the best HR work happens on the warehouse floor—not behind a computer.
If you've supported a distribution center or eCommerce operation, you know what it takes:
- Building relationships with hourly associates
- Coaching leaders through employee relations
- Driving engagement and retention
- Supporting performance management
- Being visible, approachable, and hands-on every day
This is a true roll-up-your-sleeves HR role. There isn't a centralized support team to hand work off to—you'll own it from start to finish. From onboarding and investigations to training, compliance, and employee engagement, you'll be the trusted HR partner for a busy 24/7 operation.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has HR experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or eCommerce environment
- Loves being on the floor and connecting with hourly employees
- Is proactive, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Can build credibility with leaders and associates alike
What you'll do:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for hourly employees and frontline leadership.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Coach managers and supervisors on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and performance management.
- Support corrective action processes, documentation, and disciplinary procedures.
- Partner with operations leadership to drive accountability and performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on performance coaching, corrective actions, and employee development plans.
- Monitor employee performance trends and recommend proactive solutions.
- Administer Leave of Absence (LOA), FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other employee leave programs.
- Support employee training initiatives, leadership development, and compliance training.
- Partner closely with operations leaders to support staffing needs and workforce planning.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
- Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor and across all shifts as business needs require.
- Support HR reporting, audits, investigations, and special projects.
- Assist with policy updates, communication efforts, and HR process improvements.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in the application of company policies and procedures.
Required for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting hourly employees in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience managing employee relations, performance management, leave administration, and training initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable regulations.
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
- Experience supporting a 24/7 operation with multiple shifts.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional HR certification such as PHR or SPHR.
