We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper 
to support our finance operations and uphold the accuracy of our accounting records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to following established procedures. This role is essential in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring compliance with our internal controls and audit standards.
These are temp-to-hire positions – convert to a full-time employee after 520 hours of work!

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Available Shift Times:
- Monday- Thursday 8 AM to 6PM
 - 10 hour Shifts 36-40 per week
 
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations for all company accounts.
 - Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
 - Prepare biweekly or monthly payroll entries and related journal entries for posting.
 - Maintain and update general ledger accounts with precision.
 - Manage logging, filing, and general secretarial duties , ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
 - Follow all internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) , naming conventions , and approval thresholds without exception.
 - Assist with preparation for internal audits and compliance reviews .
 - Support other accounting functions and special projects as needed.
 
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 - 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience preferred.
 - Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
 - Strong Excel and data-entry skills with high accuracy.
 - Familiarity with payroll processing and journal entry preparation.
 - Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
 - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards.

 - Team player: Collaborates effectively with peers and management, contributing to a positive and supportive finance team culture.
