We’re looking for an Associate Buyer to work at our client in Phoenix, AZ ! Earn up to $20/hr. in a collaborative and supportive team environment, focused on quality and safety. Our client is the leading provider of travel risk management solutions for aviation and maritime clients.

About the Role:
The Associate Buyer is responsible for supporting the procurement process by sourcing, purchasing, and tracking products and services essential to MedAire’s operations. This role works closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and the supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards and vendor compliance.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Available Shift Times:
  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and purchase materials, products, and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships, including vendor setup, communication, and performance tracking.
  • Generate purchase orders, confirm pricing and delivery timelines, and monitor order status.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (warehouse, operations, product management) to align purchasing with demand and lead times.
  • Support inventory level management by ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Help resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or delivery with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activity and vendor information.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes and cost savings.
Key Requirements:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in a supply chain, healthcare, or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems or ERP software (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong Excel and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
