  • 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
    Salary: $45,000 – $50,000+ (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily operations at a fast-paced, customer-focused facility. This role is responsible for helping manage staff, coordinating schedules, and assisting with day-to-day managerial tasks to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for both customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management
  • Assist in supervising, coaching, and supporting staff members

  • Help onboard and train new employees

  • Maintain staff accountability, performance standards, and morale

  • Address employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution

Scheduling & Staffing
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage

  • Adjust schedules for call-outs, time-off requests, and operational needs

  • Track attendance, availability, and punctuality

Daily Operations
  • Support the General Manager with daily operational and administrative tasks

  • Help ensure all programs and services run efficiently and on schedule

  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards

  • Act as manager-on-duty when the General Manager is unavailable

Customer Experience
  • Assist in handling customer questions, concerns, and escalations

  • Support front-line operations to ensure excellent customer service

  • Help maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized environment

Administrative Support
  • Assist with reports, documentation, and operational checklists

  • Support inventory tracking and basic facility oversight as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Customer service–focused mindset

  • Flexible and reliable with consistent availability

  • Experience in service, hospitality, recreation, or fitness environments is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
