About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll help process returned merchandise by identifying, sorting, scanning, and organizing products for their next destination. You’ll use warehouse technology and follow established procedures to keep work accurate, organized, and moving efficiently.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Available Shift Times
- First Shift / Day Shift
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Remove packages/products from inbound containers and prepare them for scanning
- Use a barcode scanner and computer to identify items and follow processing instructions
- Complete visual checks and record information as directed
- Sort items into the correct labeled bins/pallets for their next destination
- Follow procedures for unreadable labels, unidentified items, conflicting instructions, and other exceptions
- Keep products, labels, and containers organized to prevent mix-ups
- Communicate when supplies are low, containers are nearly full, or help is needed
- Maintain productivity and accuracy goals while following safe handling procedures
- Maintain a clean workstation and keep walkways clear
- Follow safety procedures and report damaged equipment/spills promptly
- Support teammates and assist with related warehouse tasks as assigned
Key Requirements
- Experience: 6+ months of warehouse, production, retail stockroom, or similar experience preferred
- Comfortable using a computer and learning barcode-scanning procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a repeatable process
- Reliable attendance and clear communication
- Ability to stay organized and work at a steady pace in a repetitive environment
- Ability to handle items up to 40 lbs(with assistance/approved methods when needed)
- Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift and perform reaching, bending, and repetitive tasks
