Job Overview

Highline Warren is seeking an experienced and dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join its shipping dock team in Elkton, MD. This position is responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts, moving and organizing products, and supporting daily shipping operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials.

• Transport finished products and pallets throughout the warehouse and shipping dock.

• Prepare and stage outgoing shipments according to shipping schedules.

• Load and unload trailers while ensuring proper product handling.

• Verify product quantities and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.

• Assist with picking, packing, and organizing orders as needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company guidelines.

• Work closely with shipping and warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Previous stand-up forklift operating experience required.

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or shipping dock preferred.

• Ability to safely maneuver forklifts in busy warehouse environments.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active setting.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
