Our Staffing Specialist

The successful Staffing Specialist will be outgoing and ambitious, have a keen eye for detail, ability to establish rapport with candidates and hiring managers quickly, have a passion for recruiting and the desire to be successful.
Pay Rate: $22/hr.
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Remote
Internal Deadline: Monday June 23 at 12pm eastern
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling interviews, coordinating between candidates and hiring managers or clients, and managing Bullhorn/ATS.
- Responsible tracking and clearance of client compliance items such as background check, fingerprinting and drug testing.
- Serving as a point of contact for candidates during the initial stages of the recruitment process, answering questions from clients and candidates and providing information about the application process and client expectations.
- Partner with VMS specialist on reporting and client meetings regarding fill rate and pipeline activity
- Maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring candidate information is up to date, and tracking recruitment metrics.
- Working closely with clients and internal HR personnel to facilitate the smooth progression of candidates to client assignment.
- Responsible initial resume and in-person or phone screening to identify basic qualifications using standard template
- Make contingent job offer for specific clients per requirements
- Assisting with the onboarding process per client or internal staff, ensuring new hires arrive Day 1 orientation.
- Liaison with client, understanding of client open roles, discuss with clients to understand their hiring needs. Regular check-in with candidates on assignment. Escalate and execute to solutions provided
- Sending standard templated client reporting package, regular meeting with client to ensure positive and ongoing relationship (including call out, fill rate, attrition, etc.)
- Visit client sites for new hire check ins and tours as needed
Skills Required:
- Federal background clearance, and the credit check required
- 3+ years experience in high volume recruiting
- 2+ years’ experience in customer service
- Experience with CRM and/or VMS - Bullhorn/Beeline strongly preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks.
- Expert understanding of recruitment processes and HR practices.
- Ability to travel to client sites for check in as required
- HS Diploma or GED
