Our client is now hiring Maintenance Technicians to support their Distribution Center operations . This role is responsible for performing moderate to complex technical maintenance repairs on warehouse equipment, vehicles, and mechanical systems. Ideal candidates will have hands-on mechanical knowledge, experience troubleshooting equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

These are temp-to-hire positions – convert to a full-time employee after 520 hours of work!

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading mechanical equipment within the distribution center. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain forklifts and warehouse vehicles, and perform basic carpentry, welding, and plumbing tasks when required. This is a hands-on position that requires strong problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety.

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Available Shift Times:
Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform moderate to complex technical maintenance repairs on mechanical equipment
  • Calibrate and upgrade equipment as needed
  • Troubleshoot scanners and mechanical systems
  • Maintain forklifts and warehouse vehicles
  • Record all work completed in departmental logs
  • Perform basic carpentry, welding, plumbing, and painting tasks
  • Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals
  • Skilled in using power tools, machinery, and shop equipment
  • Ability to pass machine driver safety training for required equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
  • Basic carpentry, welding, and plumbing knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to work in varying warehouse conditions (heat, cold, dust, confined spaces, noise)
  • Comfortable working at heights (up to 5 racks high) and using ladders, scaffolding, or lift equipment
