Inventory Control Associate

Location: Covington, GA
Schedule: Full-Time (Shift availability may vary)
Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor / Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

Integrity Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to support warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with material movement throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have inventory experience in a distribution or warehouse environment and possess basic forklift operating skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Research, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory locations and ensure proper product storage.
  • Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy.
  • Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, and order fulfillment activities.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely when required.
  • Conduct inventory adjustments and document findings.
  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or distribution center experience.
  • Previous forklift experience operating warehouse equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred

  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Forklift certification (or ability to become certified).
  • Experience in a high-volume distribution environment.
  • Microsoft Excel experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
