About the Role:
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across warehouse, office, restroom, and breakroom areas. The Industrial Cleaner plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper documentation of housekeeping tasks.
Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour
Available Shift Times:
Wednesday - Saturday, 8:00AM - 7:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and common areas
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean desks, counters, sinks, toilets, appliances, and fixtures
- Refill consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Perform deep cleaning tasks including carpet shampooing, baseboards, and vent dusting
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors and operational areas
- Remove debris such as shrink wrap, labels, cardboard, and broken pallets
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Stage and load broken pallets onto pallet trailers
- Clean around racking, dock doors, PIT parking areas, and pedestrian walkways
- Identify and immediately report spill hazards, leaks, or unsafe conditions
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping checklists using a CMMS system
- Upload required photos and notes to document completed tasks
- Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to site leadership
- Follow all site safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Wear required PPE at all times
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial, warehouse, or commercial cleaning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment
- Willingness to be trained on PIT and cleaning equipment (certification required before operation)
- Basic familiarity with mobile systems or CMMS platforms
- Strong attention to safety and hazard recognition
