Onsite HR Specialist
Position Summary:
Join our team as our new people-focused HR Specialist to join our team onsite at our client warehouse in California.
This role is pivotal in supporting a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment, with a strong focus on employee relations, temporary workforce support, and collaborative problem-solving.
You will be our onsite HR presence while effectively partnering with a remote HR manager to ensure smooth and complaint HR operations and employee relations.

Schedule
- Core Hours Mon-Fri 8a-5p, overtime as business demands
What you’ll do:
- Serve as the primary onsite HR point of contact for warehouse staff, addressing concerns, questions, and workplace issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, or violations of policy.
- Support the resolution of employee relations matters by applying sound judgment, ensuring compliance with California employment law and company policy.
- Help streamline the integration of temporary associates into warehouse operations and reinforce culture alignment.
- Ensure HR processes, policies, and practices are applied consistently and equitably in accordance with California labor regulations.
- Assist in compliance audits, EEO tracking, and data reporting as required.
- Communicate regularly with the remote HR Manager to share updates, escalate issues, and align on HR strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare site-level reports on key HR metrics such as attrition, employee concerns, and engagement initiatives.
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting
- Proven expertise in employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and compliance
- Experience working with temporary or contingent labor in a high-volume environment
- Familiarity with California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and safety compliance
- Ability to operate autonomously while staying aligned with remote leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels
- Technologically savvy – comfortable using HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros)
- Able to multitask across multiple systems in a Windows environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
