About the Role: This is a seasonal role (October-January) with the potential to be extended long-term with strong performance.
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Available Shift Times:
- 2 nd Shift: 6:00pm-6:00am rotating days/week
Key Responsibilities: The Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, shipping, and transporting raw materials and finished goods within the plant warehouse and production areas using material handling equipment. Additionally, they support the Warehouse Supervisor with various tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the warehouse and production areas.
Key Requirements:
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with company policies and attend required annual safety training.
- Track and document the movement of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods within the warehouse following company procedures.
- Load and unload inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods in accordance with company guidelines.
- Adhere to safety and quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions to plant management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including sweeping floors and removing trash.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with various tasks related to warehouse and production operations.
