About the Role
The Forklift Operator / Quality Control Technician supports daily manufacturing and warehouse operations by safely operating material handling equipment, performing quality inspections, and ensuring product standards are met. The role involves maintaining accurate records, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a smooth workflow.
Pay Rate:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
Available Shift Times
First Shift - Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Load/unload trucks, verify materials, and document inventory
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools
- Record inspection data and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report safety concerns
- Assist with inventory, shipping, and warehouse organization
- Support safety and quality initiatives
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams
Key Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings preferred
- Experience with quality inspections and measurement tools is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to become certified upon hire
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
