Overview:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will lead technology strategy and innovation for an organization specializing in instant scratch-off lottery tickets. This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions that enhance game design, production, distribution, and digital engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Innovation:

  • Develop and execute technology roadmap for lottery ticket production and digital platforms.
  • Drive innovation in game design, security features, and digital integration (e.g., mobile apps, online play).

 

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement advanced security measures to prevent fraud and ensure game integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations and industry standards.

 

Digital Transformation:

  • Oversee development of digital lottery experiences, including second-chance games and loyalty programs.
  • Integrate data analytics for player insights and operational efficiency.

 

Operations & Infrastructure:

  • Manage technology supporting ticket printing, distribution, and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure reliability and scalability of systems for high-volume transactions.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead technology teams focused on gaming, cybersecurity, and digital engagement.
  • Foster collaboration between technology, marketing, and operations.

 

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate technology strategy to executive leadership, regulators, and partners.
  • Support business development through technology-driven solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in technology leadership within gaming, lottery, or secure transaction industries.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital platform development.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in gaming.
  • Experience with secure printing technologies and anti-counterfeit measures.
  • Knowledge of mobile app development and digital engagement strategies.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships.
