The Cable Tray Installer is responsible for assembling and installing cable tray support systems used to route and support electrical and communication cables on commercial and industrial job sites. This role requires the ability to accurately measure, cut, and assemble cable tray components while following projectspecifications and safety standards.
Shifts:
Monday through Friday 8-430 or 6am to 6pm currently Monday through Saturday.
Work locations: Swedesboro, NJ and surrounding areas
Pay rate: $25-35 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Install cable tray systems using 12-foot Unistrut racks and support structures.

Build and assemble multiple layers of cable trays to accommodate various cable installations.

Measure, cut, and fit Unistrut and related materials to required dimensions.

Operate power tools, including impact guns and band saws, safely and efficiently.

Secure cable tray supports according to engineering drawings and project specifications.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience installing cable tray systems or similar support structures is preferred.

Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements.

Experience using hand and power tools, including: Impact gun and Band saw

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work at heights when required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Safely operate power tools and equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
