About the Role
As a Bulk Puller, you will be responsible for safely and accurately collecting bulk raw materials from our warehouse to support production batches. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help maintain inventory integrity and ensure the timely movement of materials, directly impacting our production flow and quality standards.
Pay Rate:
$24.00/hour
Shift Times:
Typically Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, with occasional overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Collect bulk raw materials following FIFO protocols and production schedules
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other PIT equipment
- Accurately identify and stage materials based on product codes, lot numbers, and storage requirements
- Record all bulk movements in the inventory system (ERP)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and staging areas
- Communicate inventory discrepancies and shortages to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and food safety protocols
- Palletize and load materials for transportation, ensuring safety during transit
Key Requirements
- 1-2 years warehouse or material handling experience; food or chemical warehousing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Effective communication skills, bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, OSHA regulations is a plus
