ASOS Inbound Floor Lead

Role Overview

The ASOS Inbound Lead is responsible for managing inbound operations for ASOS inventory within the Flexport fulfillment center. This role ensures accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming goods from suppliers while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards.

About the Role:

Pay Rate: $24.00

Shift Times (as available):
  • Wed-Sat 8am-6pm
  • Orientation will be at 9am Day 1

Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound Operations Management

  • Oversee daily inbound operations including receiving, unloading, and put-away of ASOS merchandise.

  • Ensure inbound shipments are processed according to SLA timelines and quality standards.

  • Monitor inbound volume forecasts and adjust labor planning accordingly.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise warehouse associates assigned to inbound operations.

  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

  • Ensure productivity targets and safety standards are met.

3. Inventory Accuracy

  • Ensure all inbound inventory is properly scanned, labeled, and stored in the warehouse management system.

  • Investigate discrepancies, damages, or missing shipments.

  • Coordinate cycle counts and inventory audits.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Operations managers

    • outbound teams

    • inventory control

    • transportation teams

  • Ensure smooth movement of ASOS inventory from receiving to storage or picking areas.

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify bottlenecks in inbound workflows and recommend improvements.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce errors.

6. Reporting & Performance Metrics

  • Track and report on inbound KPIs such as:

    • receiving turnaround time

    • dock-to-stock time

    • inventory accuracy

    • labor productivity


Required Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or supply chain operations.

  • Leadership or team lead / supervisor experience in a distribution environment.

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced e-commerce logistics environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with fashion or retail fulfillment operations.

  • Knowledge of inbound logistics such as freight scheduling, ASN processing, and dock management.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement experience.
