Flexport is hiring for the role of Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) Associate at its Lewisville, TX fulfillment centers. This position is vital for maintaining inventory accuracy and product quality throughout the warehouse. You'll be part of a team that ensures products are correctly accounted for and meet all quality standards, which is a critical part of Flexport's mission to simplify global trade.

About the Role:

Pay Rate: $17.00

Shift Times (as available): Any may become available
  • WW Fri-Mon 8am-6pm
  • DB Wed-Sat 8am-6pm
  • DA Sun-Wed 8am-6pm
  • DC Mon/Tue/Thur/Fri
  • Orientation will be at 9am Day 1

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cycle Counting   Perform frequent inventory audits by emptying bin locations, scanning each item, and ensuring the physical count matches the system's record.
  • Problem-Solving  : Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by using various reporting tools and logical reasoning to identify root causes.
  • Inventory Tickets  : Create, monitor, and manage tickets in our system to document and track inventory issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Inventory Movement  : Execute both physical and systemic movements of inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for projects like inventory optimization or special requests.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience  :
    • Minimum of  2+ years  of experience working with a  Warehouse Management System (WMS).
    • Minimum of  1+ year  of experience in an inventory or quality assurance role.
  • Technical Skills  :
    • Proficiency in  Microsoft Excel  or  Google Sheets  is required.
  • Soft Skills  :
    • Strong  attention to detail  and accuracy.
    • Excellent  problem-solving  and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
