About the Role
As a Sitdown Forklift Operator, you will operate sit-down forklifts to support warehouse and distribution operations, focusing on loading, unloading, transporting, and staging materials efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and freight.
- Load and unload trailers, containers, and trucks, ensuring cargo security.
- Transport materials across the warehouse and yard.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment counts and inspecting freight.
- Assist with inventory organization, staging outbound freight, and maintaining safety standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Help with pallet wrapping, freight securement, and general warehouse support.
Key Requirements
- Experience or ability to operate sit-down forklifts.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
- Good time management skills.
