About the Role:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining the warehouse environment. You will work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Pay Rate:$24.25/hour
Available Shift Times:
- Sunday - Thursday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Order Fulfillment:
Overseeing the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring they are processed and dispatched in a timely manner.
- Receiving and Storage:
Managing the receiving of incoming goods, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
- Equipment and Safety:
Maintaining warehouse equipment, ensuring it is in good working order, and promoting a safe working environment.
- Communication:
Communicating with other departments, such as purchasing or sales, to coordinate workflows and resolve issues.
- Training and Development:
Training new warehouse staff and providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Performance Monitoring:
Monitoring warehouse operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Supervision and Coordination:
Leading and managing a team of warehouse workers, providing guidance, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. - Inventory Management:
Monitoring stock levels, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills including exceptional attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Ability to push utility carts up to 60 pounds
- Ability to use carts, dollies and hand trucks
- Ability to go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Ability to work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
