About the Role:
As an Entry-Level Quality & Lab Technician in food manufacturing, you'll play a vital role in maintaining product quality and compliance. Your duties will include performing tests such as titratable salinity, titratable acidity, pH, viscosity, and sensory evaluations. You'll receive training in rapid microbiological testing and work closely with plant management, production teams, and other departments to verify product specifications before packaging and shipment. This is a hands-on role that combines on-the-floor production work with laboratory responsibilities, offering a comprehensive introduction to quality assurance in food manufacturing.

Pay Rate:$20.00/hour

Available Shift Times:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various quality tests including titratable salinity, acidity, pH, and viscosity
  • Perform sensory evaluations to assess product quality
  • Support the microbiological testing processes after training
  • Collaborate with production and management to verify product specifications
  • Work on the production floor to observe manufacturing processes and ensure standards
  • Assist in documentation and recording test results accurately
  • Participate in team efforts to enhance quality processes and safety standards
  • Handle occasional interaction with customers and other departments as needed


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or a related science field
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to work both in laboratories and on the production floor
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic setting
