About the Role
As a Pre-Weigh Operator, you will be responsible for accurately weighing and packaging raw ingredients, ensuring they meet production and quality standards, and maintaining inventory control. Your attention to detail and adherence to GMP and food safety protocols will support the seamless operation of our manufacturing line.
Pay Rate:
$24.00/hour
Available Shift Times:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm, with occasional overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Identify raw ingredients via product codes, descriptions, lot numbers, and allergen info
- Weigh ingredients precisely and pack according to work orders and safety standards
- Complete batch tickets and record all ingredient movements accurately in the ERP system
- Communicate any inventory shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain sanitation by cleaning equipment and workspaces regularly
- Follow GMP guidelines to ensure product safety and quality
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow
Key Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years experience in food or ingredient manufacturing preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
- Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and food safety procedures
- Forklift and pallet jack experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with manufacturing systems (SAP, SAGE, ORACLE)
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Must use PPE and adhere to safety protocols
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
