As the Manager, Logistics Asset Protectio
n, you will be responsible for implementing all Asset Protection programs within the Distribution Center environment in partnership with the DC management team. Asset Protection programs include employee awareness, investigations, physical security, compliance checks and management of any AP personnel and 3rd party guard services.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- An intense focus on shrink reduction through awareness, investigations, physical security and controls as outlined below.
- Develop and support an Asset Protection awareness culture through partnerships, ongoing communication, and training.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve employee, vendor, driver and other theft incidents within the Distribution Centers as well as through the supply chain.
- Support Field Asset Protection by identifying, researching and resolving shipment discrepancies. This includes but is not limited to weekly OSD reporting review.
- Maintain and monitor all physical security controls including and not limited to key/core control, card access, alarm and CCTV systems.
- Manage 3rd party contracted security guard service to ensure staff is trained, deployed and scheduled effectively and performing assigned job functions to expectations.
- Partner with Inventory Control to review weekly cycle count reporting and research trends and identify potential theft issues and maintain inventory integrity.
- Participate in regular management meetings by developing and supporting shrink initiatives, aligning on common business focuses and staying informed.
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with law enforcement, cargo theft investigators, fire authorities and city personnel. Effectively network with supply chain security professionals both private and public sector.
- Partner with Director of Transportation Services and team by supporting in identifying and communicating deviations in compliance and security expectations within supply chain transportation. Escalate appropriate issues to field and FSC leadership.
- Perform special projects, as assigned by the Director of Asset Protection.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Asset Protection experience, within a distribution center facility.
- Wicklander-Zulawski certification or Reid certification strongly preferred
- Experience with CCTV, alarm and card access systems preferred.
- Able to travel routinely within assigned locations, including local and out of town travel locations.
- Excellent time management skills and proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong management/leadership skills necessary to develop cohesive teams.
- Excellent analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal or no direct supervision.
- Knowledge of electronic security technology and keying systems, and fire suppression systems.
- Proficient computer skills including loss prevention applications, MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
