As a Support Associate you are obsessed with customer success: You are committed to a customer first approach and enjoy working with and advocating for customers. In this role you know the ins and outs of our business so you can assist customers with questions related to.

Flexport services and the full shipment lifecycle from factory floor to customer door! You will answer questions via phone, email, chat, and social media enabling customers to make effective use of our platform. You will provide expert support to customers including but not limited to: 1) onboarding/booking; (2) specialized support, including being able to talk to a human and walk merchants through troubleshooting; (3) business support such as educating customers on how to optimize their business through upsell of value added services and fulfillment.

In addition to the existing responsibilities, the Onsite Technical Support Associate will now be immersed in a warehousing environment, requiring hands-on involvement in merchant support and warehouse operations. You'll be the frontline ensuring the highest standards of Flexport quality, quickly resolving issues and escalating when necessary. Adaptability is key as you navigate the dynamic nature of a fast-paced warehousing setting.

This role requires working variable hours to match when customers need us most. You may be required to work national holidays, weekends, evenings and may be asked to render overtime based on business needs.

About the Role:

Pay Rate:$24.00

Shift Times (as available):
  • Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 730am-3pm
  • Orientation will be at 9am Day 1
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to merchant inquiries via live chat and email, resolving a high volume of tickets
    efficiently.
  • - Troubleshoot common technical issues related to order processing, fulfillment, tracking, and marketplace integrations.
    - Guide merchants through platform workflows and best practices to reduce future issues.
    - Flag bugs or recurring issues to the Lead and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
    - Use internal tools, logs, and documentation to investigate and resolve issues.
    - Keep knowledge base articles and macros up to date to support team efficiency and merchant self-service.
 
  • ● SLA Compliance: Take responsibility for ensuring that all merchant tickets receive a prompt response and resolution, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) where appropriate.
 
  • ● Partnership Building: Maintain a productive working relationship with account management teams and all partners involved in the supply chain.
 
  • ● Educational Role: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to educate warehouse associates on the effective use of support systems for problem resolution, contributing to a knowledgeable and efficient team.
 
  • ● Work throughout the warehouse in other job functions to learn more about the Flexport
Key Requirements:

1–2 years in a customer or technical support role (e-commerce or SaaS preferred).
- Strong communication skills, especially written, with a focus on clarity and empathy.
- Comfort using tools like Zendesk, Slack, Postman, Google Docs, and basic
ticketing/reporting systems.
- Ability to follow troubleshooting steps, learn new tools quickly, and work independently in
a remote environment.

- Experience with Shopify, Walmart, or Amazon seller platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with APIs or shipping logic is a bonus, but not required.
- Prior experience in a high-volume chat environment.
