About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, freight, and inventory throughout the warehouse and distribution facility. Your role supports shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment, all while maintaining compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, and electric pallet jack equipment
- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Verify shipment quantities and inspect for damage
- Stage, store, and organize inventory accurately
- Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation
- Follow FIFO procedures and OSHA safety regulations
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report safety concerns
- Support general warehouse duties including pallet wrapping, labeling, and housekeeping
Key Requirements
- Experience operating forklift equipment (sit-down, pallet jack)
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control practices
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- OSHA and safety compliance knowledge
